
Bayern Munich fans paid tribute to Thomas Müller ahead of their final home game on Saturday.
Supporters behind one goal displayed a large red and white tee-shirt showing Müller celebrating and holding the trophy, with his name written in giant letters, and a banner above it that read: “25 years for everything in our jersey!”
Before kick-off, a ceremony was held to pay tribute to the legendary legend. With club officials presenting him with a picture of Müller alongside all the trophies he has won with the Bavarians. Bayern,

Bayern announced in April that this would be Müller’s last season with the club, and he wanted to extend his contract despite playing less, but the club’s management felt it was better to save on his huge salary than offer him a new deal.
Müller joined Bayern in 2000 at the age of 10 from TSV Pähl, a small club southwest of Munich.
He made his debut for Bayern under Jürgen Klinsmann in 2008 and broke through under Louis van Gaal the following season. Müller became Bayern’s all-time top-flight player, making
over 700 appearances, scoring over 200 goals and providing over 200 assists.
