Waldemar Anton, the defender of the Yellow and Black teams, has also praised Nuri Şahin’s ability to manage the team, even though the 36-year-old coach is in a difficult situation.
Borussia Dortmund defender Waldemar Anton, 28, has hailed boss Nuri Šahin as an “excellent coach” and called for patience as the team develops under a new set of players and coaches, Sky Germany reported on Friday.
Anton joined Borussia Dortmund from Stuttgart in the summer and the 28-year-old defender suffered a hamstring injury towards the end of last month but is now fit to return and should bring stability and leadership to the Dortmund defence once again.
‘Our coach is excellent. Sometimes he is very calm, then he is emotional again. He works very hard, he talks a lot and he is good at managing different players. That is a very important character. Now we have to make sure we are more consistent and win away games,’ Anton said.
The 28-year-old defender also stressed that the Black and Yellows need to work harder and called for patience with the team’s development process, despite knowing there is limited time.
‘We are in the process of developing the team, we have a new coach. We have new players, we want to play a different kind of football. It is a process Register ufabet that requires patience. I know we don’t have much time left. We have shown what we can do, but we have to apply it consistently on the pitch. That is our aim as well.’
